About The Charity
Since 1977, Sojourner Center has been a safe haven from domestic violence for women and their children in Arizona. They have transformed lives by providing shelter and support services to more than 60,000 adults, children, and pets affected by domestic violence. UNFORTUNATELY, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE REMAINS PREVALENT:
Domestic violence involves physical and sexual assault, threats, and emotional abuse by one intimate partner against another. The Maricopa County Attorney’s office reported that nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the U.S., totaling over 10 million women and men annually.
Their mission is to overcome the impact of domestic violence, one life at a time.
Our History of Helping
This is Trajan’s eighth year donating Christmas presents and more to the domestic abuse survivors of the Sojourner Center. For some, it will be the first holiday season they’ve experienced without violence. Below are highlights from last year’s drive.
