As a second-generation estate planning attorney with over 25 years of experience, Kent Phelps appreciates the positive impact a customized estate plan can have on his clients and the generations that follow. Without considering estate planning, family members can be left in confusion, turmoil, or worse, after a loved one passes.
That is why his focus is on creating comprehensive estate plans that fulfill the wishes of professionals, business owners, and retirees – enabling a transition that protects the remaining beneficiaries.
His vision is simple and powerful: Provide every client with an exceptional legal planning experience. With a decade spent in the courtroom as a trial attorney, Kent understands how to help clients and their families protect against predatory lawsuits and stay out of court.
Kent has been admitted to the State Bar of Arizona. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific. Additionally, he is a member of the Wealth Counsel and the Arizona State Bar Probate & Trust Section.
Kent has been a Continuing Legal Education instructor on advanced estate planning topics. He has also received the American Jurisprudence Award, the Order of Barristers, and has his Silver Beaver Award from the Boy Scouts of America.
Kent is recognized in the media as an estate planning authority. He has been featured in ABC News, NBC News, FOX News, and Bloomberg Law.
When Kent is not meeting with clients and growing the firm, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He’s determined to keep up with his kids while snowboarding and is an avid wilderness backpacker. Kent has backpacked to the bottom (and back out!) of the Grand Canyon 14 times.
Justin Wall has assisted hundreds of individuals and families with their estate planning and probate needs. He considers every client’s unique situation carefully – whether designing custom estate plans or helping survivors through the probate process. Before narrowing his practice exclusively to estate law, Justin also advocated for the injured, the accused, and the disabled in court and administrative proceedings.
Justin is an innovative thinker who relishes a good challenge. He enjoys delving into emerging legal issues and finding cutting-edge solutions, boiling them down into valuable strategies that are both helpful and straightforward for his clients.
He got his B.S. in Political Science from Utah Valley University and went to law school at J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. He is admitted to the State Bar of Arizona.
Justin happily spends his free time with his wife Alex and their two rowdy boys. This means his latest hobbies include playing hide-and-seek, doing somersaults in the backyard, and running circles around the dining table. When the occasion permits, he enjoys board games, sports, and kayaking.
